HEALTH
This kitten/cat is to be in good health and free of any congenital illnesses. Our cattery is Feline Leukemia (FeLV & FIV) negative. Rideau Lake Bengals guarantees that your new kitten/cat will be negative as well AT TIME OF SALE. Said kitten/cat is further guaranteed to be free from any life threatening congenital defects or genetic disease that will interfere in this kitten’s/cat’s everyday living for a period of THREE years from date of sale. In the event that this kitten/cat is found to have a congenital defect or genetic disease that will interfere with its intended purpose of companionship, it can be returned to the breeder for a replacement of equal quality. Buyer is to take their new Bengal for a check-up with their own vet within 72 hours OF receiving said kitten/cat. The kitten/cat is to be quarantined until that time. If any contagious or life threatening illness is found at this time, the kitten/cat CAN be replaced only by seller with a kitten/cat of the same quality. If no kitten/cat is available at that time, buyer agrees to wait until a kitten/cat is available. BUYER AGREES TO SHARE AND SEND PROOF OF ALL SAID DOCUMENTATION REGARDING SAID KITTEN/CAT IF NECESSARY TO RIDEAU LAKE BENGALS.
ANY REPLACMENT KITTEN/CAT WILL BE GIVEN AT RIDEAU LAKE BENGALS DESCRETION. buyer must provide all necessary documents regarding said kitten/cats health to rideau lake bengals. if said kitten/cat is found to have a congenital and hereditary defect that will in fact interfere with said kitten/cats every day living, and sellers veterinarian has also agreed with all documents regarding said kitten/cat, said seller rideau lake bengals will then replace said kitten/cat at no charge. all shipping fees crate fees and tax fees will be endured by the buyer. buyer agrees to wait until a kitten/cat is available.
VACCINATIONS
Said kitten/cat will have its first vaccinations. Buyer will be provided with current shot record. This kitten/cat IS not be vaccinated against FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). The effectiveness of the vaccine has not been established and the vaccine can cause the disease. Failure to comply will void all health guarantees. buyer will ensure that this said kitten/cat will be kept up-to-date on all vaccinations and will make sure that all medical attention and treatments are given when necessary.
GENERAL CARE
Buyer agrees to give this kitten/cat a loving home. It is agreed that this animal will not be allowed outside without supervision. We do not permit the owners of the kitten/cat to allow “free run of the outdoors”. If the kitten/cat is let outdoors, then the above health guarantees of the kitten/cat will become VOID. Once a kitten/cat is let outdoors, the kitten/cat has a great possibility of contracting FELV/ FIV, parasites AND ETC, from other contaminated sources.. If this kitten/cat is found to be neglected, mistreated, abused or have lack of adequate care, it will result in the buyer relinquishing kitten/cat to breeder (RIDEAU LAKE BENGALS) unconditionally.
FEEDING
Rideau Lake Bengals feed our kittens and cats 100% raw food (chicken and lamb) and Nature’s Variety Raw Base kibble for dry food. If the buyer decides to switch the said kitten’s/cat’s food to a new brand, we are not responsible for the issues that may occur. Switching the brand of food can cause the following symptoms: diarrhea, bloody stools,and weight loss, vomiting, smelly belching and smelly stools. The said kitten/cat can become lethargic due to a reaction in the new food the buyer is giving to the said kitten/cat. We are NOT responsible for these issues. If you would like to change your Bengal’s diet, it is fine but it is suggested that you contact us for a list of widely approved brands/diets and we will happily provide you information to help transition the kitten/cat from our food to yours.
SPAY/NEUTER
This kitten/cat is being sold on a spay/neuter contract. The buyer will NOT be given registration numbers from TICA, microchip numbers or Pedigree until proof of spay or neuter has been given to Rideau Lake Bengals. Buyer agrees to have said kitten/cat fixed (spayed/neutered) by 6 months of age. Rideau Lake Bengals MUST receive vet receipt, date and full signature of a licensed veterinarian of the operation with confirmation from said veterinarian before buyer will receive ALL above documents pertaining to said kitten/cat. Buyer will also agree to allow breeder to have full access to buyer’s vet records.
YOU RECOGNIZE THAT YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED BREEDER WITH TICA, THE CCA-AFC AND ARE NOT TO BREED SAID KITTEN/CAT WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION from RIDEAU LAKE BENGALS. IF THE KITTEN/CAT IS NOT SPAYED/NEUTERED BY A REGISTERED/LICENSED VETERINARIAN with in the three to seven MONTHS, THE CONTRACT WILL BE VOID and you will sunder said kitten/cat back to rideau lake bengals unconditionally. or In the event Kitten is found to be used for breeding, Seller shall be entitled to receive an additional payment of $3,000.00, within 7 days of written demand being made upon the Purch

EUTHANIZATION
NO KITTEN OR CAT IS TO BE EUTHANISED WITHOUT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THE BREEDER (RIDEAU LAKE BENGALS), ALL PROPER TESTING MUST BE DONE BY THE BUYER BEFORE ANY DECISION IS MADE FOR SAID KITTEN/CAT, OR THE GUARANTEE IS VOID. If a kitten/cat is diagnosed with a minor imperfection (not known at time of sale) that requires no treatment and does not interfere with the normal function and purpose of the kitten/cat, no REPLACMENT will be given.
BREEDER ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR VETERINARY COSTS OR OTHER EXPENSES INCURRED BY THE OWNER/BUYER. BUYER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT BREEDER’S LIABILITY CAN NEVER EXCEED WHAT IS EXPRESSED IN THIS GUARANTEE AND AGREEMENT AND IS LIMITED TO PHYSICAL REPLACEMENT OF KITTENS/CATS. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN.
Should it become necessary for any reason to part with this kitten/cat, the buyer agrees to give the breeder first opportunity to repurchase at a price not higher than THE SAID KITTENS TRUE VALUE AND IS NOT TO BE OFFERED to any other party UNTILL BUYER AND SELLER COME TO AN AGGREMTNET. Under no circumstances will said kitten/cat be sold, leased or given away, or sold to any pet shop, research laboratory or similar facility.
said kitten/cat is not for showing and will not be shown. said buyer at any time and point may contact the seller (rideau lake bengals) and request showing rights and pay the additional charges for his/her showing rights. we do not guarantee titles, placement and CHAMPIONS IN shows.
This contract is legally binding to the buyer and seller in this transaction and is non-transferable to other parties. Any legal fees incurred in upholding this contract will be paid by the buyer. The Venue of this contract is Leeds and Grenville County Ontario Canada.
